Melanie Scrofano

1848

B: in Ottawa, Ontario

Melanie Neige Scrofano started her career as a model in Ottawa at the age of 16. Achieving international success she decided to try her hand at acting and hasn’t looked back. Scrofano ultimately settled in Toronto where she has worked on The Floor an indie student film which is making the festival rounds. As ofte happens with models who switch to acting, many of their early roles are as models. For example, Scrofana landed the recurring role of Nathalie, a sexy and beautiful model from Paris on the series Jeff Ltd. She plays the title role in the 2016 series Wynonna Earp, which is about the great-great grand-daughter of famed deputy Wyatt Earp who defends her hometown of Purgatory from supernatural outlaws, or “Revenants.” The series is based on an IDW comic book series created by Beau Smith.
