Rachel Skarsten was discovered by a talent agent who saw a tape of her singing at an event honoring her father. On her very first professional audition she landed a national commercial. Six months later, she was hired to play Bess in the television series Little Men. Skarsten played the role of Queen Elizabeth in 35 episodes of the TV series Reign between 2015 and 2017. In early 2019 it was announced that Skarsten had been cast in the CW Network’s pilot for Batwoman and will play Alice, the Joker-esque leader of the Wonderland Gang, whose sole purpose is to spread terror across the city of Gotham.
