Lynne Stopkewich is a writer-director-editor-producer-production designer. She began making movies when she was just 13-years-old using a Super 8 camera. She obtained her BFA in film from Concordia University and made two short films before entering the largely self-directed graduate film programme at the University of British Columbia. Her 1996 film, Kissed, is based on a Barbara Gowdy short story We So Seldom Look on Love. It helped launch the career of Molly Parker.
