Surviving my Mother (Comment survivre à sa mère) is a generational comedy-drama that connects three women. It follows the familial complications that arise when Clara (Ellen David) is finally liberated from her domineering and fatally ill mother (Veronique Le Flaguais). Saddened by that dysfunctional relationship, Clara decides to probe into her own daughter's life, and to try to build an intimacy with her. Meanwhile, Bianca (Caroline Dhavernas) prefers to keep mom and dad (Colin Mochrie) at a distance.
