Serveuses demandées is, at its heart, a story of two different woman who find themselves in the same situation but both wanting what the other no longer wants. Janaina Suaudeau plays Priscilla, a Brazilian who has decided to stay in Canada after her student visa has expired. Unable to get legal work she is forced to join the underground economy. In this case, like far too many girls, she becomes a stripper. All she wants is to stay in Canada legally. She becomes friends with Milagro (Clara Furey) who wants nothing more than to take her daughter and leave the cold of Canada behind. Doing so would mean leaving her mother, played by Anna Dorval. To make things happen, Milagro will ultimately need the help of the RCMP, specifically a certain Corporal Paradis (Colm Feore) who has been using her as an informant.
