Originally from Edmonton, Susan Flores Aceron is an Asian-Canadian actor who caught the acting bug when she was castas an orphan ina musical production of “Oliver!” at the age ofnine. An over-achiever in school, she won many prestigious awards including first place in the provincial science fair to winning a ballet scholarship to being crowned Miss Philippine Cultural Society all by the time she was thirteen years old. Diagnosed with nasopharynx cancer in December 2015, Susan Aceron was 44 when she died less than a year later.
