Paolo Barzman is the son of noted screenwriters Ben and Norma Barzman and is himself a seasoned screenwriter. At first he pursued an education in painting and graphic arts at the Académie Julian in Paris and at UCLA before turning to film. He started his career as an assistant to the great French director Jean Renoir before moving to Montréal, Québec where he now makes his home. In 2006, he received a Gemini award for his work on the TV series, 15/Love. Canadian actress Melanie Scrofano plays the title character in the series Wynonna Earp. |
