Theodore “Ted” Bezaire holds both American and Canadian citizenship and is a founding member of The Dot Film Company. Mainly a Writer and Director, he also possesses a thorough understanding of film theory, producing, editing and sound design. Stamps, his 10-minute family drama, premiered at the Viewfinders International Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Working in association with the CFTPA and Corus Entertainment, Bezaire received $25,000 to write, direct and produce an 8-minute comedy entitled The Putting Edge, which was broadcast on YTV in the summer of 2005. To follow up, he directed Pria, a 12-minute comedic drama shot on 35mm film for the CBC. Pria won the Student’s Choice Award at Sprockets Film Festival For Children and the Platinum Remi award for Best Short Film at WorldFest Houston. Ted Bezaire holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University Of Windsor, Ontario. He also attended the highly competitive Post Graduate Advanced Television and Film Program at Sheridan College. We list his credits as a Producer first. |
