Caterina Scorsone is best known for playing the role of Dr. Amelia Shepherd in the hit series Grey’s Anatomy. Her character was the sister of the late Dr. Derek Shepherd, played by Patrick Dempsey, making her sister-in-law to series star Ellen Pompeo’s Dr. Meredith Grey. She began her acting career when she was 14 with appearances in two made-for-television movies. She has played Dr. Amelia Shepherd in Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice and Station 19. She played Michelle Parker in 26 episodes of the Canadian series Power Play.
