Corey Stanton

Corey Stanton began making movies at an early age using action figures, his father’s camcorder, and the voices of his parents and siblings. Through childhood and adolescence, he became a self-taught editor, eventually managing a successful YouTube channel, and winning Best Youth Documentary at the inaugural York Region Film Festival. Stanton then shifted to a career in healthcare, earning his Bachelor of Science from York University, and his Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.) after graduating medical school at the University of Ottawa. Despite a love for patient care and pediatrics, Stanton
could no longer deny his lifelong dream of filmmaking, and he opted not to continue his path as a medical doctor. He now actively pursues his passions for writing, directing, and producing. His award-winning 2018 film Robbery is his first feature-length film. Ww list his credits as a Director first.
