Emily Coutts plays the role of Keyla Detmer, helmsman of the U.S.S. Shenzhou, on the shot in Toronto series Star Trek: Discovery. She holds a BFA in Acting from York University and in addition to acting in, she also co-produced the film, Barn Wedding.
