Patricia Dahlquist began her acting career at the University of British Columbia where she studied Theatre and Education for five years alongside fellow students Larry Kent, Scott Hylands and Alan Scarfe. Her first film appearance was in The Street in 1962. They reunited for Larry Kent’s 2005 film, The Hamster Cage in which she played the role of Jenn. Dahlquist won a Juno Award in 1976 as the Most Promising Female Vocalist in Canada for her album, This is Patricia Dahlquist. Dahlquist also studied ballet for nine years, violin for ten years, singing for twelve years and has been singing professionally for more than thirty-five years. |
