Jennifer Dale, a graduate of the National Theatre School in Montreal, began her stage career spending two years on the stages of the Stratford Festival and the National Arts Centre. She captivated audiences in Toronto in the 2006 production of The Woman I Am, A Celebration of Dorothy Livesay and her Poetry. Dale portrayed Canadian poet, Dorothy Livesay and her performance brought the audience to its feet. Dale also costarred in Aladdin – The Magical Family Musical, which is usually remembered for the casting of Canadian pro-wrestler Bret “Hitman” Hart in the role of the Genie of the Lamp. A multiple Genie and Gemini award nominee, Dale is a recipient of Toronto Women In Film’s Outstanding Achievement Award, and the Earle Grey Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.
