No one would call being in a severe car accident a good thing, not even Shane Daly. But when a car he was riding in was rear-ended, and Shane sustained a back injury, he had lots of time to sit and ponder what the future might hold for him and he began to think about acting. For one thing he could really fake pain now that he knew about real pain. He set out to study acting and when he thought he was ready he tried to find an agent willing to work with an actor with no experience. Eventually Shane found someone who wanted to represent him and soon after he landed his first small role. The rest, as they say, is history.
