Ellen David

Ellen David, a graduate of Montreal’s Wagar High School, was part of the cast nominated for a 2007 Gemini Award for Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Program for her work in the series The Business. For her work on stage she earned a Prix des Masques Best Supporting Actress nomination, for Si j`avais la seule possession dessus le jugement dernier. David was part of the cast in the original stage production of Mambo Italiano at Montreal’s Centaur Theatre, then played the same role in the film version, and then appeared in the follow-up play by Steve Galliccio, In Piazza San Domenico. Ellen David played the role of Judith Bellow on the CBC series, 18 to Life. She has provided the voice of Bitzi Baxter on the animated series Arthur since 1997.
