Catherine de Léan trained at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal, where she was first noticed by directors like Antoine Laprise, Reynald Robinson and Igor Ovadis. She received her first professional contract in the summer of 2004 in Europe, where she participated in the original production of Jédiwô, a street show that played in Saint Malo, Miliau, and in Brouage, France. Catherine de Léan has played the role of Mélissa Choquette-Turcotte on the series Mémoires vives.
