Born in South Africa, Debs Howard moved with her family to Canada in 1991 and grew up in the town of Cranbook, British Columbia. She wanted to be an actor from a very young age, admitting that her most treasured asset was a kid was my dress-up box. She credits her elementary school teachers with helping her realize her goal, allowing her to write and perform skits and plays in class instead of handing in an essay or project. Later, she attended the Acting For The Screen Program at the Victoria Motion Picture School in British Columbia, graduating with distinction in 2010. |
