Duex nuits, aka An Eye for Beauty, centres on Luc, a brilliant young architect with remarkable talent, lives a peaceful life with his wife, Stephanie in the stunning area of Charlevoix, Québec. Beautiful house, pretty wife, dinner with friends, golf, tennis, hunting… a perfect life, one might say. One day, Luc accepts an offer to become a member of an architectural jury in Toronto. There, he meets Lindsay, a mysterious woman who will turn him and his life upside down in just two nights.

Shot over 63 days and across many months, Deux nuits was filmed in Charlevoix, Quebec, as well as in Québec City, Toronto and Paris spanning the seasons from winter to summer. Originally scheduled for release in 2012, Deux nuits is Denys Arcand’s first feature film since 2007.
