David James Elliot grew up wanting to be a musician and singer and it wasn’t until he read a bit of King Lear in a theatre history class that he got turned on to acting. Accepted into Ryerson`s theatre program in 1983 he had a chance to perform at the prestigious Stratford Festival before graduating and picked up The Jean Chalmers Award for Most Promising Actor. He is best known for his 10 seasons as Lt.Cdr. Harmon Rabb Jr. on the TV series, JAG. Born David William Smith, after moving to Los Angeles he took the stage name of David James Elliott when he discovered another actor named David Smith. |
