Eve Harlow was born in Moscow but her family moved to Israel when she was just 3-months-old. Seven years later the family moved again settling in Vancouver, British Columbia, an important hub for Canadian filmmaking. Harlow was 19 when she landed a role in a series about the Canadian Coast Guard playing the role of Tina Renwald. For her work on this series she received a Leo Award for Best Supporting Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series in 2009 and was nominated for Gemini Award in 2010. According to various sources Eve wanted to be an actress from an early age. Her mother, who had a career as a theatre actress, was very supportive of her dream. Her latest project, the Netflix series The Night Agent is based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, and is a sophisticated, character-based, action-thriller centred on a low level FBI Agent (Gabriel Basso) who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings — until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office. Eve Harlow plays Ellen, an unpredictable killer whose impulses come at a cost. The series also costars Sarah Desjardins. |
