B: in Winnipeg, Manitoba
Frank Adamson found his way into the acting business slowly, working at CBC in accounting and duplicating in the 1960s, learning his craft in amateur theatre in his off time. He read all the scripts that came across his desk and watched them come to life in CBC studios. He attended Ryerson Polytechnical Institute for training as a producer, and eventually made the headlong leap into producing, writing, directing and acting. Since then, Adamson has developed a prolific career acting on stage as well as working in film and television. Adamson has also written, produced and directed numerous projects including the documentaries Garden of Memories and In a Common Cause saluting pilots and air gunners who participated in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan in Canada between 1939 and 1945. |
