Barclay Hope and R.H. Thomson, with help from a Toronto teacher, Marvin Karon, created a program called On Board with the Bard in 1998 to help students understand Shakespeare. In addition to his work in film and on television, Barclay Hope is also an accomplished stage actor who has appeared in productions of The Heidi Chronicles at Toronto`s Royal Alexandria Theatre and at the Manitoba Theatre Center, as well as in Theatre Direct`s production of Getting Wrecked and at the Stratford Festival in Death of a Salesman and The Country Wife.
