Anna Hopkins grew up in the Pointe Saint-Charles area of Montréal, then moved to Montreal West when she was going to high school. Her career began on stage at Royal West Academy where she appeared in many of their major productions. She then studied under acting coach Jacqueline McClintock which led to roles in movies like Human Trafficking and Too Young to Marry. But it was her breakout role in Barney’s Version with Hollywood heavy-hitters Dustin Hoffman, Paul Giamatti and Minnie Driver that began to get her noticed. Her portrayal of Barney’s daughter in that film brought an ACTRA nomination for outstanding performance. She plays the role of Teresa Langana on the TV series, Bad Blood. |
