Tracey Hoyt is a double Gemini Award nominee. She trained at The Banff School of Fine Arts, York University and the Second City. She recently played series lead Aurora Farqueson on the mockumentary series The Tournament for CBC-TV. Hoyt worked with Robert De Niro in the feature film Godsend and with Julianne Moore and Laura Dern in The Prizewinner of Defiance, Ohio. Theatre highlights include seeing Canada with the Second City National Touring Company and appearing in all three Canadian versions of The Drowsy Chaperone. She has recurring voice roles on Radio Free Roscoe, and the animated series Delilah & Julius, 6Teen and Bob and Margaret. Known as a versatile actor and improviser, Hoyt has voiced hundreds of commercials for television and radio and taught Improvisation extensively at the Second City Training Centre and at Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto. |
