It’s the story of these four finalists that we follow. Cat, a rocker, hopes to win in order to provide her three sons with a better life. Superficial but submissive Manon enters because that’s what her ambitious mother wants. Daphnée was encouraged by the people she works with to audition. Mimi, a shy small town librarian, is entered without her knowledge by her friend Brigitte. When Mimi gets lost in the streets of Montreal, fans of the show find her and won’t let her go. Meanwhile, the producers, who haven’t put much effort into finding her, decide whether or not they should replace her with another contestant. Popular comedienne and singer Claudine Mercier plays all eight contestants. Québec actor, Yves Desgagnés, makes his directorial debut with this fun comedy.
