Jeff Roop was born Jeffery Robert Roop and grew up in Montreal. He began taking acting classes while working toward a finance degree at McGill University. He appeared in both college and local theatre in Montreal then moved on to the theater school at the Moscow Art Theatre, in Russia, and at Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His first professional theatre role was an off-Broadway production of A.A Milne’s Mr. Pim Passes By. He returned to Canada landing his first feature film role in Free Money, starring Marlon Brando. He also founded the critically acclaimed Arbat Theatre Company. He played Drew on the series Vampire High. |
