Eric Johnson, pictured as Flash Gordon in a publicity still from the 2007 series. Born Eric Johann Johnson, he enrolled in theatre school when he was 9 and has been busy ever since. Once best known for playing the role of Whitney Fordman on the television series Smallville, he left the cast after the first season but continued to make guest appearances in season two of the series. Prior to Smallville he played “Teen Tristan” in Legends of the Fall. He was nominated in 2000 for a Best Male Lead Actor Gemini for his work in the highly controversial film, Scorn.
