Katerine Savard is a competitive swimmer who holds several Canadian records in women’s butterfly events. At the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, she won a gold medal and set a new Commonwealth record in the 100-metre butterfly and bronze medal in the 4×100-metre medley relay. She stars as the title character, Nadia, in the 2020 film Nadia, Butterfly, which was selected to screen at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival.
