Kathleen Fortin graduated from the National Theatre School in 1997 and has had success in film, television and on stage. Some of her stage work includes La mouette (Théâtre Nouveau Monde, TMN), Une truite pour Ernestine Shuswap (Espace GO), Rêvez, montagnes!(Espacelibre), Opium_37 (Quat’sous), YEL (héâtre Prospéro), Le Roi se meurt (TNM), Les voisins (héâtre Rougemont) and Tout ce qui n’est pas sec (Théâtre de Quat’sous). She is also a prominent figure in Québec musical theatre. She was a cast member of the highly acclaimed Belles-SÅ“urs show which was hugely successful in Paris and across Québec. In 2019, she was in the show Chansons pour filles et boys perdus at the Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui, Le Meilleur des Mondes at the Denise-Pelletier Theater and on tour with André Gagnon’s Les 4 Saisons. She was nominated for a 2018 Prix Gémeaux in the Best Supporting Actress category for her performance in Olivier. |
