Kazik Radwanski

Kaz Radwanski wrote directed and produced three award-winning shorts between 2007 and 2009 before moving on to features Tower in 2012 and How Heavy This Hammer in 2015. Together with his former Ryerson classmate Daniel Montgomery, Radwanski formed the production company MDFF Medium Density Fibreboard Films. He has been called one of Toronto’s most gifted young filmmakers by Now critic Jason Alexander. How Heavy This Hammer was given its World Premiere at TIFF 2015 and was generally well received by the local critics. The National Post called it a must see and it was in the running for the best Canadian film at the 2016 Toronto Film Critics Association awards dinner. His film Anne at 13000 ft was selected to have its World Premiere at TIFF 2019. His 2023 film Matt and Mara was selected to screen in the Encounters lineup at Berlinale 2024.
