Jack Kruschen started out as a dramatic actor. He worked in radio drama starting in 1939 and then moved to film in 1949. With the growth of television he began to land roles on a regular basis beginning with an appearance in an episode of Gunsmoke in 1956. He was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 1960 movie, The Apartment. He appeared as “Papa” Papadapolis with fellow Northern Star, Susan Clark in the TV series, Webster. |
