Rita Lafontaine pictured above in a publicity still from the 2009 Seville Pictures release, Noémie. Lafontaine is usually associated with the Québec actor and playwright, Michel Tremblay and theatre director André Brassard. They have cast her in virtually all of the Tremblay premieres. She made her professional debut in 1968 with the premiere of Les Belles-soeurs.
