Mark Leiren-Young has written for virtually every medium, in almost every genre. His TV credits include Blood Ties, The Collector, Psi Factor and the Earthvision Award-winning enviro-comedy Greenpieces. His stage plays include Shylock and Blueprints from Space and have been performed in Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia. His work has twice been nominated for the Writers’ Guild of Canada Top Ten in radio drama. His journalism credits include work for Time Magazine, Maclean’s and The Utne Reader, and he won a National Magazine Award as a humour columnist for his work with Theatrum. The Green Chain is Leiren-Young`s first feature film.
