Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe began her career as a model, but when she was 15-years-old landed a small role in an episode of Stargate SG-1, which launched her acting career. Lowe played the role of Toby Nance on the series Primeval: New World and plays Rita Haywith in the television series and subsequent series of made-for-TV movies under the title Signed, Sealed, Delivered.
