Kate Lynch has also taught acting at the University College Drama Program in Toronto, at the Stratford Festival, the Shaw festival, Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. George Brown College, among many others. Her stage performance credits include roles in productions of Smudge, Road to Hell, The Breakdown, and many others including Tales of the Blonde Assassin, which she also wrote when she was part of the Tarragon Playwrights Unit in 1998. Her stage directing credits include Cymbeline, Pericles and Waiting for Godot for the University College Drama Program. Lynch won a 1980 Genie Award for her role as Roxanne in Meatballs and was nominated for a Genie for her work in 1987’s Taking Care. |
