Matthew Rankin’s first feature-length film, The Twentieth Century, had its World Premiere when it screened in the Midnight Madness program of TIFF 2019. A native of Winnipeg, Montreal-based Rankin studied Québec history at McGill University and at Université Laval before turning to film.
