B: 1946 in Bay-de-Verde, Newfoundland
Frank Moore won a Best Supporting Acting award for his role in the film The Far Shore and has been nominated for a Best Actor Gemini for the television show Twice in a Lifetime. Not confined to either the big screen or the little one, his work in theatre has brought him nominations for Dora Awards for the musicals Tommy and Urinetown. A small selection of other credits include Hair and Les Miserables. He appeared in The Drowsy Chaperone, Judith Thompson`s The Crackwalker at Montreal’s Centaur Theatre, plus the original productions of Leaving Home, David French`s Creeps and Russell Hill at Toronto`s Tarragon Theatre. More recently he was Frank Richards in Ken Finkleman series Hotel. Born in Newfoundland, he moved with his family to Toronto, Ontario when he was seven. He is pictured as Stan Herman on the left above, with Jason Spevack (right) who played Henry James Herman in Entertainment One’s Jesus Henry Christ. |
