B: August 21, 1967 in Vancouver, British Columbia
Carrie-Anne Moss came into this world on August 21 1967 and was named by her parents after one of their favorite songs, “Carrie-Anne,” a hit for the British pop group The Hollies. Little did anyone know at the time that she would go on to international fame herself. Not as a singer but as a actor. She developed a passion for acting at a very young age. Like many youngsters she acted in school plays and at 17 decided there just might be a future for her as an actor, and so took some lessons. She plays the role of Jeri Hogarth on the series Jessica Jones. In August 2019 it was announced that a new Matrix movie was in the works at Warner Bros. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity and Lana Wachowski wrote and directed the 2.5 hour Matrix – The Resurrections, scheduled to open December 22, 2021.
