Unnatural & Accidental is based on the true story of the drowning deaths of 10 women. For over 30 years, a serial killer preyed solely on native women in Winnipeg. His MO, as they say, was an offer to ease their isolation by buying them a drink, and be whatever else they needed, in order to drink them to death. The coroner’s reports listed the cause of death of many of these women as “unnatural and accidental.”
