Set in the near future (2043), a military occupation controls disenfranchised cities in a post-war North America. Children have become property of the State. Niska (Elle-Maija Tailfeathers) was forced to give up her daughter Waseese (Brooklyn Letexier-Hart), who is now being indoctrinated and turned into a soldier. Niska joins an underground band of vigilantes to infiltrate a State children’s academy and get her daughter back. The mother-daughter relationship is the bedrock of Night Raiders, a female-driven dystopian drama about resilience, courage and love.

Night Raiders, a Canada /New Zealand co-production, marks the feature film directorial debut of Danis Goulet.
