Peter James Edward Oldring is a graduate of the National Theater School in Montréal, which is a sister school of Juilliard. His extensive experience in sketch comedy left him well prepared for the various roles he played on Blue Collar TV. He was performing standup comedy and was a member of a popular comedy troupe before landing a spot in the acclaimed Second City group in Toronto. He was sent to California to perform in Second City’s first show in Los Angeles where, almost predictably, his career blossomed. In Canada he is probably best known for his radio work, co-hosting the CBC spoof show, This is That with Pat Kelly. Also see: US Agency Helps Rebrand Canada. |
