Parveen Kaur

Born in British Columbia, Parveen Kaur moved to Toronto when she was 19 to pursue a career in Film and Television. Best known for her work on Guillermo del Toro’s hit FX series The Strain and CTV’s Saving Hope as Dr. Asha Mirani, she currently stars as Christine in ABC’s sci-fi series, Beyond. Upcoming work includes roles alongside Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games) and Vincent Kartheiser (Mad Men) in the thriller, American Hangman, as well as an indie feature alongside Grey’s Anatomy’s Giacomo Gianniotti and Adeline Kane. In late July 2018 it was announced that Parveen Kaur would receive the 2017 MISAFF Star to be presented by ACTRA at the 6th annual Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival in Mississauga, Ontario.
