Dylan Pearce is an innovative filmmaker. His short, The Blind, was given a 2880 Film Festival award. Another short, First in Line was nominated for a Rosie award which is handed out by AMPIA, or, the Alberta Motion Picture Industries Association. Baby Blues is Pearce’s feature debut. It was shot over a four week period during the months of September and October 2006 across various locations in Windsor and Essex-County, Ontario. His 2014 feature, 40 Below and Falling, was shot in 3D and released as a made-for-television movie retitled A Frosty Affair. His next 3D feature is rumoured to be titled Iron Dogs.
