William Phillips pictured above on location during the filming of Treed Murray which was nominated for 5 Genie Awards, including Best Motion Picture. Phillips entered the Film Studies Program at Toronto’s Ryerson University after graduating with a science degree from the University of Toronto. Foolproof was released with more than $2 million being spent to promote the feature, which opened on 204 screens in Canada. By comparison, David Cronenberg’s film, Spider, was released on only 35 screens. He has not made a movie since his 2010 feature, Gunless. |
