Pierre Sarrazin was a journalist and producer of television documentaries with CTV’s W-5 and CBC’s The Journal before moving on to write and produce his first feature film La Florida. He co-created the series The City, for which he Executive Produced 27 of the 33 episodes and wrote two of them. He Produced and/or Executive Produced seven movies for the CTV network including After the Harvest, which was directed by Jeremy Podeswa and starred Sam Shepard. Doomstown won a Gemini Award for best television movie. His productions have won multiple awards and La Florida, co-written and co-produced with Suzette Couture, received the Golden Reel Award for the highest-grossing movie in Canada.
