Jean-François Pouliot graduated with a degree in Art and Communication from Concordia University. He began his career as an assistant cameraman and worked on such films as Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time in America, and Tony Richardson’s Hotel New Hampshire. A highly successful director in advertising for fifteen years and nearly 500 commercials, he was often approached with feature film projects but never found anything that he wanted to do until he read Ken Scott’s screenplay for Seducing Doctor Lewis
