B: August 28, 1969 in Vancouver, BC

Jason Priestley began his career as a child actor in TV commercials, but spent his teens concentrating on school in general and high-school sports in particular. Once he graduated he returned to acting and started his career a second time by accepting one-shot roles on series like 21 Jump Street. His first ongoing US contract came when he was cast to play teen orphan, Todd Mahaffey on the sitcom Sister Kate. Producer Aaron Spelling’s daughter Tori spotted Priestley on that show and suggested to her dad that he audition for a role in Beverly Hills 90210, and his career was off and running. He is pictured with a 2014 Canadian Screen Award for Lead Actor in a Comedy series for his work in Call Me Fitz.
