Randall Okita is a Japanese Canadian artist and film producer-writer-director. He was the recipient of the inaugural John Dunning Discovery Award which was presented at the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards. The award is given to the best micro-budget film of the year (production budget under $250K) which has had a theatrical release or been accepted to two approved Canadian festivals within the year. It was for his debut feature film The Lockpicker, which came after a series of successful shorts. We list his credits as a Director first. Official website |
