David Gordon Ray toiled in the film industries of New York, Toronto and Vancouver for about 10 years. Some highlights from that period of his career include working alongside Robert Altman on Altman’s TV pilot Killer App, and on Matthew Harrison’s first feature, The Rhythm Thief. He also worked on a number of shorts and music videos. His feature debut, Fetching Cody, premiered at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival. He studied at Ryerson’s Film Studies Program in Toronto and at The National Screen Institute’s “Features First” Program.
