Ryan Rodney Reynolds is the youngest of four brothers and started acting at the age of 12 when he went to audition for a part in the series, Fifteen. He not only landed a role but went on to spend 4 years working on the series. He was nominated for a Youth in Film Award for his work in Fifteen. His time as a TV actor was short and by 1993 he had been cast in his first feature, the Canadian-made film, Ordinary Magic. He was just 17 but it seemed like his decision to become an actor was going to pay off. Just one year later Reynolds moved to Hollywood where he now makes his home. He married Scarlett Johansson in Vancouver in September of 2008 but the marriage didn’t last. He married actress Blake Lively in 2012. In November of 2010 People Magazine crowned him the Sexiest Man Alive. Ryan Reynolds costars in the Apple TV+ production Spirited playing a modern-day Scrooge in an update of the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol. UPDATE: November 8, 2022 – Ryan Reynolds confirmed on the Tonight Show that he’s looking to buy the Ottawa Senators.
